Beautiful Knife; Very Weak Lock
The knife is beautiful and constructed well. It weighs like you would expect a steel and aluminum knife to weigh; it’s not light. For the price, it is a good value. The “button lock” does not lock the blade well. You can easily push the open blade closed. I can flip it closed without pushing the button. The detent is enough to hold the blade close. The blade opens smoothly and easily with the flipper tab. When the button is pushed, the blade easily swings on it’s bearings.., and bounces back out after closing. If the button is released after the blade is released, but before it is closed, the blade will stay closed. This is not uncommon axis and button locks. Reiterating the picture, there is no thumb studs for flick opening. It would be an outstanding value if the lock was strong, but as it is, it’s just nice and beautiful, but heavy.
