Kizer Trestle Traditional Slip-Joint Pocketknife Sandvik 14C28N Blade | Titanium & Micarta | V3761A1
Sometimes the simplest design is the most reliable. The Kizer Trestle, designed by Azo, reimagines the iconic slipjoint mechanism not as a historical reproduction, but as a modern celebration of enduring design intuition. This is a compact knife built for seamless urban carry, offering a timeless aesthetic with a sharp, modern edge.
Kizer took the traditional slip joint mechanism and made it safer. While regular non-locking knives pause at about 90 degrees, the Trestle pauses at an angle beyond 90 degrees when closing. This innovative design creates more space between the blade and your fingers, greatly reducing the chance of getting pinched during operation.
The 2.9" inches Clip Point blade is perfect for daily tasks like package opening or gear maintenance. It is forged from 14C28N stainless steel (Rockwell hardness of 58-59 HRC), a reliable Swedish steel known for its fine grain structure, excellent toughness, and superior corrosion resistance. This utility blade features a thickness of 0.10" inches (2.5 mm) and is opened in true traditional fashion via the Nail Nick.
