SRM Knives Mirage 238X-GB One Piece Mono-Chassis Black G10 Axis Lock D2 Blade
What is so special about this new budget-friendly SRM knife for 2024? Mono-chassis is the key phrase, here. Most folder pocketknives are made of sandwich construction, which consists of two pieces of stainless steel as the frame, held together by standoff pins and screws. That works, but this new mono-chassis design is a single piece of folded steel, creating an even stronger spine and overall frame, without the need for all of the extra parts and maintenance that comes along with them. Less is more, with this new, innovative technique. Sanrenmu is doing some amazing things, and this is one of the design elements we are sure they will be adding to many other future models, as they are released.
