Real Copper Scales

Knives with real copper scales are a huge conversation piece. Just like a penny, over time, they will patina just from the oils in your hands, and general exposure to the air. These will start out shiny when you get it but might have the beginning of a slight patina from sitting on the shelf. To keep it shiny, you can occasionally buff it with a buffing wheel or dremel... or just enjoy it and let it patina up further over time. We don't remove them from their factory plastic bags, because we are trying to keep the patina from starting earlier than the time when they hit their new owner's hand.
