Top-Switch OTF Knife with Carbon Fiber Accents and Double Edged Blade Small 6.75" inch EDC

This knife is not "offshore junk". I am 63 years old, have an American manufacturing background, and this appears to be a very nice Automatic knife. It has some weight to it! It's not cheap plastic. It has a long (2-5/16") belt clip, which has the very nice touch of etched USA (+flag) and Armed Force Tactical lettering on clip. At the top is the 3/8" tall glass-breaker, with removal holes. The handle is 3-3/4" long, knife OAL is 4-1/8" long, which includes the glass-breaker. The blade is 2-5/8" from handle to (very sharp!) tip-end. This knife uses hex head cap screws (stronger, less apt to round out than phillips head screws, which you are more likely to see on off-shore product). The body of the knife has ribbing and a surface that is either very finely peened or rubberized, hard to tell, but it is conducive to hanging onto the knife. It is not slick in the hands, a plus! When you push forward the ribbed knife-eject lever, the blade comes out with force! You can tell it means business! Retraction is also very strong, as well. ** When the knife is protracted and handle if up against a hard surface, when projecting the blade out from the handle, the blade becomes disengaged. This is important to know, depending on what state you live in. (I didn't see this information in the description). ** To re-engage the knife blade, you simply pull the blade out all the way with your fingers. Please, be very careful when handling this knife blade with your fingers. It *is* very sharp. I would recommend this knife to friends and family. It is much more than I bargained for at this price point! High quality, great price!
