in Nitro-V Stainless Steel with G10 & Micarta Handle
The Kizer Militaw 1067A2 is a rugged and functional fixed-blade knife designed for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and hunters. Crafted with a balance of aesthetics and performance, this knife is built to withstand the elements while providing exceptional cutting power.
Blade Performance
The Militaw features a 3.83-inch drop point blade made from German Nitro-V steel. This high-quality steel provides excellent toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention, ensuring reliability in the field. The blade is finished with a bubble stonewash treatment, giving it a rugged, worn-in look while reducing glare and fingerprints. With a 0.14-inch blade thickness, it offers a sturdy and powerful cutting edge for slicing, piercing, and utility tasks.
Handle Design and Comfort
The handle scales combine G10 and Micarta, providing both durability and a comfortable grip. The well-chamfered edges ensure ergonomic handling, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. Its black and brown color scheme adds a classic yet modern aesthetic to the knife. The jimping is noted to be in more spots than the average fixed blade knife. See the top and bottom photos for all of the nicely jimped spots! It's not the type of jimping that is overly aggressive, rather it is smooth enough for many hours of comfortable use.
Enhanced Control and Features
For superior grip and control, the Militaw includes multiple sections of jimping along the blade spine and handle. This feature allows for a secure hold in various grip positions, making the knife ideal for detailed cutting and heavy-duty tasks. The balanced weight of 4.50 ounces ensures easy handling while maintaining a solid, reliable feel.
