You probably never even thought of the possibility of combining the convenience of a box-cutter razor utility knife, with an automatic OTF out-the-front switchblade... until now. Yes, this is actually a thing, that you can own, and affordably! The action, fit, and finish, on this OTF knife are all exceptional. This is a fun little piece for your OTF or EDC knife collection. The handle on this fun little out-the-front is offers plenty of milling on front as well as side handle jimping for a secure and confident grip. It's ready to eat through your daily cardboard and box-cutting tasks and might even be up to part for some sheetrock slicing on that next weekend project. This knife model could be considered CA / "Cali-legal" for everyday carry in terms of the exposed edge portion of the blade, which measures in at 2" inches (the standard length of a trapezoid shaped utility blade is longer than 2 inches, when removed from the blade holder). Choose from either black or olive-drab green.

Blade Holder Option 1: Screw-Type

This version fits almost every blade brand we have tested. While it is slightly slower to change—requiring a T6 Torx screw—it is the best choice if you use a wide variety of off-the-shelf blades. We include two spare screws; keep them in a safe place!

Blade Holder Option 2: Quick-Change

This innovative blade holder features a built-in rear spring and leaf spring for zero blade-play (front-to-back, and side-to-side), but this tight fit limits which blades you can use.

Fits both ways: Milwaukee, Husky, Kobalt, and most major brands.
Fits one way (logo facing back): Klein Tools, Stanley, and DeWalt.
Does NOT fit: Lenox or Hyper Tough (Walmart).

Important: When testing other brands, the lock bar must sit 100% flush. If it sticks out even slightly, the Rocket Razor will misfire.

V2 Frag Design Improvements: We listened to our customers feedback to build a new and improved version.

Frag grenade handle design (just the right about of grip, textured on both sides)
Reversible / ambidextrous pocket clip (flippable to the front side of the handle for left-handed pocket carry)
Stronger internal spring for a slightly stronger trigger force and even more longevity
Optional body screws now also available in black or gold
Optional glass-breaker replacement pocket clip screw (for those that hated the pointy pommel)

Resharpening your traditional pocket knives gets old fast - which is why more and more of our customers are adding utility-blade models to their regular EDC rotation. Standard trapezoid-shaped utility razor blades are widely available and can be bought in bulk for just pennies. Always be sure to check the blade for stuck on pieces of tape or glue residue, prior to retracting the blade back into the handle. This will keep your knife operating at its best and prevent you from having to take it apart for additional cleaning and added maintenance.

so good

This OTF box cutter is just great! The action is surprisingly strong and is very easy to fire and retract. Unlike many other OTF razor options out there (some are very expensive! why not just get an actual OTF knife at those prices?), this OTF (for $50!) allows you to use the entire length of the razor, rather than just the tip. Blades are easy to replace and are very secure. Very light and feels great in hand. Since I don't carry this attached to a retractable keyring (I suppose that's what the loop on the glass breaker is for) I simply removed said ring. If desired, the glass breaker screws out and can be replaced with a screw. Along with the several replacement screws and razors provided (!), perhaps in future, Arena Acc. could provide a "filler" screw for the glass breaker. This is a great tool and much safer than a folding razor.

Phenomenal !! Best Box Cutter I’ve come across

Phenomenal customer service, superb build quality. Very similar in fit, form, and function to microtech knives. For me, this is infinitely more usable, easier to maintain since you replace a blade rather than constantly sharpening… and is legal due to blade length… best option out there for utility and form factor. I ordered two initially, liked it so much I ordered a third. Arena Accessories definitely over-delivered based on price point and expectations. I am impressed!

Excellent knife so far, picked it up after seeing some reviews on it, I use a utility knife all day every day at work on everything from cardboard to drywall to caulking etc. This has been running great for a couple weeks now, no hiccups in deployment, super convenient to be able to manipulate with 1 hand, the blades it comes with are lightsaber sharp!

OTF with a twist

This utility blade is unnecessarily cool! The action on this thing is super crisp and responsive. The quick change option makes this an ideal EDC in your pocket.

Rocket Launch Successful

I have numerous types of utility-blade knives, and even more OTF knives. I purchased this to have quick access to blade for cutting labels, boxes, etc. The fact that you can switch out blades easily when dull, is the benefit of the utility style knive. I'm impressed with the power of the blade launch. I ended up buying more for gifts for friends that appreciate great tools and knives. (BTW ... I have the screw version) For quick access, I use a gun magnet to hang and store.
