The Elite Tactical Cruiser has a very short-throw on the button, which is a unique feature.  Some folks don't like button models where the button sticks out so far, that it may accidentally get pushed when in your pocket. This design is safer for everyday carry, and the overall handle length when folded is just 4" inches long.  Not a switchblade or automatic - the button is the lock on this model.  The knife can be deployed easily with the thumb studs, or by pressing the button lock gently with your finger, and flicking your wrist.
