Ambi Lock
The Sanrenmu / SRM Cub 261M is a top-tier everyday carry (EDC) folding knife, designed for those who demand precision, durability, and versatility. Don't be fooled by its low cost! The Cub features a 3-inch 154CM stainless steel blade, this knife offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness—making it an ideal companion for daily tasks, outdoor use, and tactical applications.
With PB washers in the pivot and a manual ambi/axis lock system and a reversible deep-carry pocket clip, the 261M is perfect for both left- and right-handed users. The G10 handle scales provide a secure, ergonomic grip, while the lightweight 2.7 oz design ensures effortless carry all day long.
Sanrenmu
Cub
Highlights:
Blade:
3” inch 154CM stainless steel – ultra-sharp, strong, and wear-resistant to
hold a great edge for a long time
Handle:
4.25” inch handle with G10 scales – lightweight and textured for a durable, grippy, secure grip
Locking Mechanism:
Ambi/Axis (crossbar) lock for smooth and reliable operation
Compact & Ultralight:
7.25” inch overall length, and just 2.7 oz for effortless daily carry that you'll forget is even in your pants pocket
Reversible Pocket Clip:
Ambidextrous (lefty friendly) tip-up, deep-carry pocket clip for left- and right-handed users
Cooled Sharpening:
Ensures that the blade maintains its hardness and performance characteristics, resulting in a sharper, more durable edge
Phosphor Bronze Washers:
Surprisingly, the SRM Cub has a super smooth action, without the need for ball-bearings. With their larger contact area compared to ball bearings, PB washers offer superior support for wider blades, enhancing stability and durability in a folding pocketknife. Washers excel in rugged environments by being less prone to debris buildup and requiring less maintenance, making them a reliable choice for hard-use and outdoor knives.
